We live in a society that wants to brand and market everything.
Trying to market Christianity according to the world's way of getting the message out is always disastrous. The nuts and bolts message of Jesus cuts through perfectly to those who are seeking Him.
When someone feels that longing for lasting relationship with the Lord, it is not a call that comes from his or her tangible senses - it is deeper, where the soul is seeking what the world can never give: holiness. It is for this the Church doesn't need rock bands or showy liturgy; we need only faithful pastors and a constant climate that calls the soul to the Lord in and in His Holy Word. The Holy Spirit will do the rest.
